I can't imagine what you paid for that stuff from Boeing.

I paid very little, that is why I bought it. It was from their scrap yard, for some reason it had failed to pass an inspector and was automatically sent to the scrap yard. They were not familiar with it there, treated it like the scrap pieces of 3/8 Nomex honeycomb with S glass skins that they sold by weight which made it about half the price of 3/8 plywood by area. This stuff was flooring and had a 3/4inch core. I used it for step treads, at least when it failed it just caused a surprised look on a crew member's face but posed no danger to the boat. I still have the pieces of carbon skin, someday I will find a use for them:^).
