To make things even tougher, the formulas show one would need 4000 ft long 
catamaran (setting aside if it could even be built) to do the same thing as 
the big container ship Emma M does with a 1300 ft mono.

Sounds like humans will never see really big cats.  What a pity the physics 
just don't work out...  Long live the catamarn.
