MessageI think you will find that there are a lot of 2 part epoxy primers that you can use as a top coat that will serve you well for water emersion on your dagger boards. dupont has a few. they might chalk if expose to sun for a long time. but since you daggerboard will be down most of the time for you windward racers that should not be a problem. I've heard the two part paints such as Awlgrip, Stirling are for topsides only. Anyone know of a two part paint suitable for dagger boards, etc that tolerate extended periods of below waterline use?

Any one had any experience with Stirling paints using this method? I have a hard cockpit cover and two dagger boards to paint using it. The boat was sprayed with it, but I don't have access to that sort of set up. Also any advice on the type of rollers to use?

The paint is 2 part made by Pro-Line.(San Diego) You roll it on then with your second roller knock it down, this also removes any gas bubbles, when it dries it shrinks and there are no roller
