The dealer is lying or misinformed.  Under the hood, the older Enduro 15 has all s.s. fasteners, substantially more robust plastic parts, etc. etc.  They seem bulletproof.  Their target market was the typical 3rd world fisherman who could just scrape up the money to pay for one but had no money for maintenance.  The other market (1st world) can afford regular trips to the dealer and spare parts when something goes wrong :)

Fiji is the closest place to get them I suspect.

While on the subject, some toe rag recently nicked my Yamaha 15 hp  
enduro from the boat.

I need to replace it but in Oz they don;t sell the enduro, and are  
saying that "the only difference" is that the endure runs 50:1
whereas  
the blue labelled one runs 100:1.

I had previously been told that the enduro was substantially more  
robust.

Anyone know the truth of the matter ?

Oh and if anyone on the east coast of Oz is offered a pristine 15  
endure my advice is buy it ! its hardly been used :-(
