Re The Pardey way

My neighbours in the boat yard bought a 35ft Wildcat (disastrously SA biult Schionning design) and pretty much finished it in the Pardey way.
No built in 'furniture', no plumbing, no wiring, handheld GPS, 20hp Honda outboard, etc.
Although the boat sailed reasonably well they only got to Maputo (200 miles), returned and sold the boat.
It has just been re-lauched after the new owner 'completed' the boat with all the usuals!
All I can say is that it takes a very special person to live on a minimalist boat and as with everything else in life too little is almost as bad as too much.
My own leans towards too much but I have tried to stay with relatively uncomplicated (fixable) systems
Happy sailing on whole boats
Hennie (old Kelsall 43)
