[MHml] new beam needs net attachments

I could glue a SS rub strake top and bottom, or even thin SS sheet metal, if
I was lashing net-net over and under the beam.
It will be laterally tighter if I lash directly to the beam, half the span
and all.
We lace shed 80 pvc pipe along the net edge, and use spectra for lashing
(1/4"?)

Yes, I could, but I'm concerned about chafe on the beam. Where we have gone
around an alloy beam, the paint is gone and we get corrosion problems.

I don't have a good picture of your net configuration but
could you just lash to the beam?
