the quote from my posting. I don't think this is my calling them facts, even
though they do seem to support the 'blanking' fact.

Rather interestingly the one vessel, the Radical Bay is not what one would
call a cruising boat, but rather a vessel that should be capable of pulling
the apparent wind forward. Yet it appears to suffer from the blanking at
times.

Granted the DynaRig puts a lot of extra weight aloft. In a ballasted monohull
this is truly a sin, as it requires considerable ballast to offset this weight
aloft. 

In the unballasted multihull this is not the same critical factor.
