Brian replied:
I don't think so, but I would be willing to bet a lot more was spent on Falcon
than Mirabella, because it was a first-of-a-kind project, and it physical is a
larger project with 3 mast rather than one.

Brian replied:
We may have to wait awhile for these figures

...from her recent logged passage
"And so, in less than a year from our departure from Istanbul, and with 21
thousand nautical miles under our belts, we are back for a couple of weeks in
the yard before we begin our Summer season in the Med. I am happy to report
that the DynaRig (FalconRig) has performed flawlessly, and no servicing of its
sails or systems is on our work list. In the recent passage, Christian only
went aloft once to check a connection---there were no actual problems"

PS: My origial posting was not to say this rig could compete with the biplane
one for weight or expense, it was to say that the biplane rig dose not make
sense for a CRUISING vessel, failing on several major points of sailing that
cruisers are interested in.

On the other hand I don't think the DynaRig can be summarily dismissed per
Rob's quote, "it is also much less safe, unreliable, hard to handle, with very
high maintenance and will not perform as well on any point of sail, including
reaching."
