Yes, in fact do more than ask about the weight. Don't buy on the basis
of Shellac's performance. Examine very carefully and test sail before
buying.
Dave, you say this should suit you as a performance cruiser. Maybe
Shellac would but I'm not sure that a 'standard' Fusion 40 qualifies as
a performance cruiser.
Also A$ is pretty good right now so an aus built boat might not be as
attractive as was in recent years.
