[MHml] wire rope splice

Habit?
We do put quote a load on it raising the main if the cars jam.  But probably nothing Dacron couldn't handle.

Bill, I'm sure there is a good reason for it, but if "only the wire 
takes full load," then why does the tail need to be spectra?
