His market seems to be those that don't sail aka dreamers. Just an
educated guess I don't have ANY marketing data to back this up.
As a power boat this out of steel makes a bit of sense. But as a sail
boat glass/foam makes a bit more but no mater how you build it the thing
is going to get the full condo treatment. Your typical home builder
isn't likely to know how important vacuum bagging is so the steel maybe
a lighter option. Aluminum is a bit harder to learn to weld but worth
the effort.
Without more detail I can't even guess if these will tend to be good or
lesser boats. If the home build builder hasn't sailed on a multi before
they can not appreciate how much weight plays into the equitation.
However if gets people out on the water and have some fun than it's not
a lesser activity.
