I have one screacher with a special non-twist luff rope, and one with a
double luff rope using dux dynex 75. The single non-twist line may twist
less than normal rope on furling, but to think that it doesn't twist is way
optimistic. The single line screacher rolls up like a wet towel. The
double luff rope screacher furls faster and better. It requires special
thimbles top & bottom and tension adjustability to balance the two lines.
Precourt made the hardware and GM Sails made the sails.

Yes, the Code Zero can be coiled but does not twist, at least that is what
the brochure states.
these ought to be useful features yet the rope is being discontinued so I
wonder if it has lived up to expectations. Another drawback for me is that
the minimum rope diameter is 9/16 in.

there is a european comany (forget their name - ?manzzoli??) that do a
special head sail torsion construction spectra specifically for luff lines
in loose luffed furling headsails.
- is this what Yale intend thier Code Zero for?
