Dux Dynex 75 is stronger than Amsteel Blue and is made in Northern Europe.

I used Lightning for halyards, and it gets fuzzy from UV pretty fast. I suspect it's the Vectran. Exercise caution using it
uncovered.

Amsteel Blue is Samson's 12 braid SK75 Dyneema. Dyneema is the european equivalent to one type of Spectra, which is a similar
product manufactured in the US.
In normal conditions Dyneema should be easier to find in Europe than in the US. Maffioli, Marlow, Cousin and other European
manufacturers use it in their lines.

Defender does not carry Amsteel Blue, only the weaker Amsteel, aka Spectron, which is SK 60 Dyneema or the equivalent Spectra type.
You'd have to place a special order, but in this case, you should consider Samson's "Lightning" instead. It's a 12 braid with a
blend of Vectran and SK75 Dyneema. Compare the lines' features in Samson's website.

(purchased one reel of 8mm "Lightning" through Defender)

the size/strength you need be cautious there are different grades that only show up based on strengths. They do ship international
and after all, the line will be a very light package!

in Europe.
