I think it depends upon how old it is. You mentioned it as a play around dinghy, so presumeably you will not want to spend a lot, so probably it will be an older boat.  They were always a top level boat for racers, but they are much lighter and faster now than they were a long time ago. Like everything else at the top end, development has been ongoing and costly. But even an older one with oldish sails will need handling with some care, and in return should deliver a lot of fun I would think.
