Interesting that you bring this up as I was just talking to a rigger in
Nelson NZ who has me thinking about putting synthetic rigging on my boat.
He has some impressive information including test data and has done a number
of boats, including a 60' cat so if you want his details let me know.
Cheers
Phil

Subject: [MHml] synthetic rigging
Hi folks,
My boat was rigged with synthetic rigging, the end fittings were
similar to Norsman fitting except there was a swivel ring at the end
instead of a fork for a pin. The lashings ran thu the swivel. It made for a
very clean installation. I cant find the rigger and don't know what the
fittings were called or who made them. Does anyone have any idea where these
fittings may have come from? No I don't have any pictures and I sold the
boat. Stupid me.
