It might be worth contacting QCM in Kent, Washington State. I recall when I was buying my epoxy from them that they had imported a range of adhesives which promised remarkable things. I am afraid that I have lost the brochure they gave me and cannot remember the brand name. I did use one of them for bonding aluminum to cured epoxy. Dead easy to apply, coat one surface with one component and the other surface with the other, put them together and PRESTO, they were joined. Finally began to let go last year, about 16 years holding hatch tracks down, so getting every variety of weather.  I rather think it was an acrylic.
    The technical director is a Lancashire lad like me with the same first name, so ask for Roy, dont let that put you off, and  see if he can help.  They have a web site too.
