[MHml] Multihull delivery gone badly wrong

I am pretty sure that the RCD (Recreational Craft Directive) or CE approval
as it is now known - requires not only escape hatches, but for multihulls,
fixtures on the underside of the bridgedeck to which you can tie on to. I
will look this up when I get the time.
I would expect a boat like a Lagoon to lie stern down, given the open
(aspirated) engine rooms. As far as I remember, they have some forward
hatches for the sail storage rooms forward in each hull.
Maybe they didn't want to /could not get under the boat and that way in?
Or else they wanted to stay outside for when rescue arrived.
Sad news whatever the reason - but no real information as to why they
capsized, and whether they had a drogue, sea anchor or anything else.
This being a delivery, there probably wasn't any such safety kit onboard

interesting they did not mention getting access to the hulls once inverted,
also that the lifejacket harness 'failed'.
from my own experince must have items are:
1. escape hatchs
2. high quality harness / jackets with crutch straps
3. prepare prepare prepare for the worst
