They are really amazing couplings!

Suddenly I can see possibilities in a "drop down" propeller configuration,
with an inboard diesel. Maybe using a Kevlar belt drive up to on of these
couplings, with a shaft that can be pulled out of the water - between the
hulls.

Although Bill has decided on outboards this item was featured on tv here
last 
night which would appear to make all sorts of o/b alternatives possible
