[MHml] water pump in just one hull?

Evan,
My Gemini 3000 had a 30 gallon tank under each aft bunk with (I'm guessing)
a less than 36" rise to the bridgedeck. Typical Shurflo with a y valve in
the starboard side. If I accidentally ran the starboard tank dry it wouldn't
quickly pull from the port side but would if you let it run for a few
minutes. If I used the galley foot pump it would prime in 6~12 pumps and
then work fine.
