[MHml] Cheap boat?

A friend sent me this, and I thought that someone might be
interested:

CAYENNE (AFP) – the hulls of  Tim Progetto Italia trimaran, which
capsized on november 14th 2005 during the Transat Jacques Vabre
from Le Havre and Salvador de Bahia (Brésil) has been located in
Guyane, declared the french Coastguards on Monday. 

The upturned hull was sighted and photographed by a french army
Puma helicopter in Oyapock Bay next to the Brasilian border, last
week. Giovanni Soldini and Vittorio Malingri were the italian
skippers when the boat capsized 400 miles SW of Dakar. They had
been rescued unharmed but had to abandon their boat.

(Which goes to show that a well built multihull can survive
upside down for a long period. :) )
