So the durajet is more efficient?
 
How does the e-tec compare to a Honda 4 stroke for fuel consumption?
 
I notice it's lighter, which is something.  But my old 2 stroke had twice
the gas consumption of my Honda 4 stroke, and a 20hp honda pushes me better
than my old 35hp 2 stroke Tohatsu.

   Durajet was developed by evinrude for the seals and the likes because
they could not get a rib  up on a plane with men and equipment to much power
lost from the tips of the props. they inclosed it with a tube and the
problem went away. plus no side thrust from the prop
