[MHml] jet ski

In my imagined use, I wouldn't use the jet ski at low speeds or in reverse.  Just to get us from 7 up to 20 knots.  Then back on the
20 hp outboard for in the harbor.

jet ski set up works very well - 
Pro-vu (ex toshiba, F40 tri) had one fitted, you could pick up the 50Hp complete unit one handed - mind you it screamed like a mad
chainsaw and threw a big jet of water behind.
they had problems sorting the reverse and dropped the idea. but i understand it was dropped without actaully sorting the
stopping/reveses thrust problem, which accoring to the guy who fitted the whole set-up should not have been unsurmountable
 
the jet ski appaently pushed the boat happly over 10 knots. There are probaly soem Brits on the list who know a whole lot more about
it than I
