[MHml] Ventilation of surface piercing daggers

Hi Roy:
Another boat with some possible data for you: Stiletto 27s use surface
piercing dagger boards mounted between the hulls. In my experience, it
wasn't as efficient to weather then hull based boards. I did sail with the
board angled forward when useful to balance the sail plan. As it is easy
to observe under way, perhaps there are Stiletto sailors who have taken note
of any cavitation.
Some Stilettos were converted to dual dagger boards- one per hull- with
noticeable improvement in windward performance- at all speeds.
Cheers,
Curt
