Excuse me ?????
Everybody else's daggerboards produce a WINDWARD force!
The shift of lee/weather helm (meaning the tendency of a boat to bear
away/luff) as the windward hull lifts off/returns to the water, can be
very real as any pacific proa sailor will tell you.
The extent to which is applies on any given boat depends on the set-up
of that boat. You can't assume that just because Boat A is relatively
neutral, Boat B won't experience a change. OTOH you can't assume that
Boat B cannot be set up to be relatively neutral.
