I was looking through some old MultiMags prior to recycling some and saw in the Nov Dec issue of 1999 a report on the first RAVE annual regatta,complete with pictures of the boats up on their foils. Now it occurs to me that i have not  seen any reports of subsequent annual events, nor indeed any further  mention of these boats, one of which was piloted by Ira Heller BTW.

        What happened to this class which generated so much excitement when announced?  Not windy enough to fly often enough???
