[MHml] Your best tips for an offshore jacket to keep the wetstuff out

Hi all,

A kind soul has donated £200 -sadly $400 these days ;-) to buy me a nice
warm jacket to keep out the cold and the wet.

So I am off to the boatshow to spend it.

Come on I know you all love (and hate) oilies! What would you recommend?

I like to do short offshore stuff eg fastnet, cross channel....not round the
cans but not round the world either.

Should I spend more, less etc?
