I definitely recommend joining a multihull sailing club. I don't know

That is a problem. I live in Montreal (Canada) not exactly a hotbed of beach
cats (no beaches) The boat is in Spain, and most Spaniards are fat lazy
buggers(well, actually skinny lazy buggers) (VBG) (made so by all the money
the Brits bring with them when they move to the Costa Blanca) and they would
rather cruise around in their motor yachts than sail a beach cat. Maybe I
have to convince my wife I have to take a holiday in Cuba or the Islands and
and practice there.
