bit like the internet used to be in fact :-)

FYI the topic of sailmakers and sailcloth for cruising and racing surfaces 
frequently, and spinnaker rigging within the last few weeks. I am surprised 
that Dave hasn't already tried to talk you out of a spinnaker and into a kite  
though :-)

The FP is quite well suited to cruising around the Med. Just remember that you 
really really really want to keep it as light as possible if you plan to ever 
move it. "Stuff" in a cruising boat has magnetic properties and piles of it 
can accumulate, even "stuff" you sware you have never seen before.
