I guess I see the tilting as being done on the trailer where adding a pivot
and a lever with maybe a line to a trailer winch adding no weight to the
boat. What I like about the expanding trailer is you can make your changes
very agro (read cheap and easy) and heavy with no effect to the weight of
the boat. Really how much easier could you make the mast raising if you had
the hull and cradle pivot, insert mast horizontally, then crank the trailer
winch till vertical? None of that sway side to side, or strain halfway up
when the guys snag.
At least that is what I see in my mind when I picture the process :-)

Not sure I see that as an advantage, one then has to lift
the mast and rotate the hull all at the same time, which seems more
daunting than ever.
