Offhand no, although I worked out once how much the CO2 and temperature
levels would rise in in an operations room when the forced ventilation
failed. IIRC there was a lot of volume per person (room height was
around 10m) and we got only a couple of hours!
For what it's worth, UK building regs appear to require 25000 sqmm (say
40 sqin) vents in a small bedroom (albeit for two people). I would have
thought that a sealable vent or two vent was a better choice than a
hermetically sealed box as it gives the option of riding out bad weather
below indefinitely.
