[MHml] Yamaha 9.9 Problems

Hi,
Went for a sail this weekend, only to find the Yamaha
Outboard won't start again!!
(I had the carb cleaned and serviced, new fuel pump
diaphram, fuel lines/filter checked, (£250) in France),
and on Saturday I took the carb off again (no apparent
problems) and put 2 new spark plugs in
It will just about start, very lumpy, some smoke, but no
power when you open her up the engine revs
just don't change. Took the plugs out after a few minutes
and they are completely sooted up??
 
 
Any ides??
