Robert,

I would guess that a Harry with a sailing weight of 800kgs for a 40 foot boat would be an interesting test of the para-anchoring system. How many Harry's are now afloat and have any seen rough weather.

    Cheers Peter.

I can understand the concern of bow to waves and the thought of damage to the rudder, and can understand trepidation at being stern on to breaking seas but I reckon the companionway needs to be strong enough anyway. My choice is to go double ended with a Harryproa which removes the distinction and can lift all foils out of the water.
My thoughts are to make the larger drogues proportional to the standard which would give fewer drogues for the same length.
   Robert
