The interesting detail about Moto GP is that it is the most developed 
form of non-aero downforce racing.  Formula 1 cars would be really slow 
without aero.
Obligatory multihull content:  Shuttleworth does good work minimizing 
aero drag.  And;  trimarans, since they heel more than cats, develop 
more downforce.  When carried to an extreme this is not necessarily a 
good thing.  See:  monomarans broaching.
