Top Gear, a UK TV series, tests car's performance around a
track. For comparison:

Lotus Exige S (Supercharged) 1.25.1 
Lotus Exige 1.26.9
Dodge Viper SRT-10 1.28.5

So Bill's comments about the Viper would seem to be borne
out.

The fastest times are mostly set by real exotica:

Koenigsegg CCX 1.17.6 
Pagani Zonda F 1.18.4 
Maserati MC12  1.18.9 
Ferrari Enzo 1.19.0 
Ariel Atom 1.19.5 

Except the Ariel Atom, which makes the Exige look
