Fluid dynamics fundis don't have to make these foils though! Sure, a
nice thin foil with high AR and some concavity aft sounds fine and
dandy, but Bill wants it to be 64" long with a 12' chord AND still
withstand all Afterburner's rig will demand of it without breaking.
Somewhere the materials scientists need to let us know when we are
pushing the limits.
