[MHml] Inclining experiment in air

Peter,

   I don't know much about the inclining experiment in air.  I thought 
the (immersed) inclining experiment was used was used to find the 
metacentric height.  How much use is this in a catamaran where the 
centre of bouyancy has such a large lateral range?  You KNOW they are 
stable vessels on this basis alone.

   Let us know what you are up to.
