Just for a reference.  there is a little book called Fast Boats, that
has a number of formula for power and sail including multihull

The big factor is that they all use a coef. you specify. Working
backward with the ceecat power cats, we got a coef that when applied to
another similar design predicted the performance within a few %.

Think the author is DuCane.  Sure is out of print.

Think  Marjac has  formula for HP by SA in various wind speeds.

But all this still uses a coef.  His numbers are from metal model sails
and soft sails with various fabrics will produce a wide range of
results.

So you still need a real time set of factors to determine the coef.
