[MHml] Brisbane to Gladstone race

I heard Gary Martin and Flat Chat took line honors in the 3 shorter
races and did well in the series.

The annual Brisbane to Gladstone race was held over Easter in moderate
down wind conditions with "Raw Nerve" taking line honours and blowing
the race record away. Photo's of the fleet are available on
www.kenyonsportsphotos. com.au/proofs.htm The majority of the Multihull
fleet continued to race North with the Australian Multihull Offshore
Championships which comprised of Brisbane to Gladstone followed by four
shorter races finishing in Airlie Beach at the Whitsunday's. Total race
distance of over 500 nm. Unfortunately the fleet lost one boat with the
capsize of the cruising cat "Two To Go" North of Keppel Island. All crew
where successfully rescued but the cat was washed onshore and a complete
loss.
