[MHml] Antifoul alternative

+ Has anybody on the list any experience spraying cupro-nickel particles 
onto
+ wet epoxy to form a long lasting, eco friendly alternative to conventional
+ antifouling paints?

    I saw an article on the Ecosea system in a UK yachting magazine a month
or two back. I don't have a copy, but the journalist had his boat fitted
with the Ecosea system, and seemed pretty happy. I think that it added 30kg
to the boat's weight, but wouldn't need to be replaced for at least five
years.

    I'd be interested to know how it performs for racing boats, which (as
far as I'm aware) tend to use a hard, teflon-based antifoul.
