Very well stated. I admire women who take the initiative to enjoy being a
participant. Thanks for participating in this list. Could you make your
attitude available to all members on this list?
I accept that men and women have some general division of interests, I don't
enjoy dress shopping, and my wife doesn't enjoy changing oil, but I believe
sailing to be one of the true "non gender" activities. My hat is off to
sailor women (if the phrase - sailor person - ever appears in earnest on
this list please shackle my leg to the anchor). Anyone see the Sailing mag
cover for December 2000? The "captain" may be in the galley.
Truth is, most of us didn't choose our spouses because they are sailors
(first mistake), so don't take it for granted that monkey see monkey do.
